Changes in Software Support Fees

Beginning November 1, 2009, MacroSystem US will be charging for Technical Support. Phone Support will be available for $.75 per minute. Email Support will be available for $5 per issue or $10 for a message addressing multiple issues. You will also have the option of purchasing a Support Contract. A Support Contract will provide you with phone and email support for $249 per year.

Columbus 3 for Bogart

The well known Columbus 2 has been updated to Columbus 3 which is modified to work with Bogart V2. The modifications in this version include a few new buttons to create new objects that are separate from key points. This even includes the ability to place a new object like a sizable PIP scene on a map route.

Cinemascope 1.0 for Bogart

The Cinemascope product will be used in specific situations with external hardware. This product allows you to edit your video footage in the Cinemascope format. This kind of footage would be recorded using a special camera or a suitable lens. For example, a special lens may be 16:9 lens which converts a 4:3 camera setting to 16:9. When you use that lens on a camera with a 16:9 camera setting, it will record close to a 21:9 format. If this is the case, then you would want to edit using the Cinemascope (21:9) menu switches offered with the Cinemascope product. You must have Bogart version 2.3 or higher to operate with Cinemascope.

Introducing FlagX 1

FlagX 1 contains a large number of quality animated flags and background panels which can be placed on your footage with adjustments to their size and position. These are different Eastern and Western European flags and background panels in this version. (American Flag and North America flags are NOT available in this version).

You'll find the FlagX 1 program in your Image Processing filter list. FlagX 1 is compatible with both SD and HD projects and supports aspect ratios 4:3 and 16:9. FlagX 1 needs Bogart SE 2 or higher to operate.
